When can I walk on my newly sealed drive?

We recommend no pedestrian traffic for 24 hours.

   

Q.

When can I drive on my newly sealed drive?

A.

We recommend a 48 hour wait before driving or parking on seal coated areas.

   

Q.

What are the wait times for asphalt patches?

A.

For best results, we recommend 24 hours for pedestrian traffic, 4 days to drive over the asphalt and 1 week for parking on the asphalt.

   

Q.

Are wait times the same for repaving/paving or extensions?

A.

Yes. The above guidelines should be followed for these services.

   

Q.

You provided asphalt services but the drive was not sealed. When will it be sealed?

A.

Fresh asphalt needs time to “cure”. We will schedule your seal coat according to the following guidelines:

  • Extensions, Patches seal within 2-4 weeks

  • Repaving, Resurfacing seal within 2-5 months.

These times are, of course, dependant upon prevailing weather conditions.
